What is this Program?
Parole in Place (PIP) is the process that allows an eligible applicant who entered the United States unlawfully to obtain some immigration benefits that can lead to a direct pathway for U.S. Citizenship.
In addition, this program also is available for undocumented children under 21 whose parent is married to a U.S. citizen.
